Faithful Servant
Please ask the Lord to bless my employer with more clients this year. Please join me in thanking the Lord for a good employer who has been good to me for many years, even when I went through treatment for cancer. Please ask the Lord to bless my employer in return, with business success. Thank you and God bless you.

We are deeply moved by your gratitude for your employer and your desire to see them blessed with success. It is a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness in your life, especially during your battle with cancer, and we rejoice with you in His provision. Let us lift this request before the Lord together, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty over all things.

First, we must acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father above (James 1:17). Your employer’s kindness and steadfastness are reflections of God’s grace, and we give thanks for the way He has used them to sustain you. We also recognize that God is the ultimate provider, and it is His will that we seek first—not just for ourselves, but for others as well. As we pray for your employer’s business to flourish, we do so with the understanding that true success is measured by faithfulness to God’s purposes (Proverbs 16:3).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the way You have worked in the life of this dear brother or sister. We thank You for their employer, who has shown kindness and loyalty, reflecting Your love even in difficult seasons. Lord, we ask that You bless their business abundantly this year. Open doors of opportunity, bring forth new clients, and grant wisdom in all their dealings. May their work prosper not only for their own benefit but also as a testimony to Your provision and faithfulness. Let their success be a light that draws others to You, and may they recognize that every good thing comes from Your hand. We also pray for continued favor in their relationship, that it may be marked by mutual respect, integrity, and a shared commitment to honoring You in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your employer with a heart of gratitude, remembering that God delights in blessing those who walk in His ways (Psalm 37:25). If you have not already, consider sharing your testimony with them—how God has sustained you through your illness and how His faithfulness has been evident in their kindness. This could be an opportunity to plant seeds of faith or encourage them in their own walk with the Lord.

Additionally, we urge you to examine your own heart in this season. Are there ways you can be a blessing to your employer in return? Proverbs 18:24 reminds us, "A man who has friends must show himself friendly," and this principle applies in the workplace as well. Whether through diligence, loyalty, or prayer, seek to honor God in how you serve them. Remember, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23).

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your employer does not yet know Christ, this is also an opportunity to intercede for their salvation. Pray that their heart would be softened to the gospel and that they would come to know the love and grace of Jesus, who gave His life for all. May your relationship with them be a testimony of God’s love, drawing them closer to Him.
