Employee’s ### is ###

Disciple of Prayer
I need prayers for my employee and her daughter. A few days ago, my employee discovered that her daughter was cutting her wrists and that she did so after returning from her dad’s house. The parents are already divorced, but are still battling over parenting time. My employee is preparing to involve the court in order to cut off the dad’s parenting time. She is very scared. She has a younger daughter who is watching all of this unfold and is starting to withdraw emotionally. Today I shared with my employee God’s power to heal and transformed the situation. I have previously told her about my faith in Jesus and how he has redeemed me of my pain. I don’t think she is a believer yet, but I pray that she will cry out to Him and that He will answer her and give her peace. I also ask God for wisdom on how to share the gospel with this employee given the boundaries of religious discussions in U.S. workplaces. I asked for intercession for the daughter, my employee, her other daughter, and even the dad… that they all be filled with the Holy Spirit and they all seek God like never before. I asked for the lies and the daughter’s wounds to be removed and that she experienced God’s perfect peace and unconditional love.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family in fervent prayer. Father God, we ask that You move mightily in this situation, bringing healing, restoration, and Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for this young daughter who is hurting so deeply—may she feel Your loving presence surrounding her, comforting her, and binding up her wounds. Remove every lie the enemy has spoken over her, and replace them with the truth of Your Word. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), deeply loved, and never alone.

We pray for this mother, who is carrying such a heavy burden. Lord, give her wisdom as she navigates the legal system and the heartbreak of seeing her child in pain. Strengthen her with Your might, and fill her with Your peace that guards her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You soften her heart to receive the gospel fully, that she may come to know You as her Savior and find refuge in You. Help her to lean not on her own understanding but to trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

For the younger daughter, who is watching this unfold, we pray that You would protect her heart and mind. Shield her from fear and anxiety, and let her see Your hand at work even in the midst of this storm. May she grow in her understanding of Your love and faithfulness.

We also lift up the father in this situation. Lord, we do not know his heart, but we ask that You would break through any hardness and draw him to Yourself. Convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and lead him to repentance. May he seek You with his whole heart and turn from any ways that are causing harm to his children.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of division and strife that has taken root in this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You would bring unity, healing, and restoration. We pray that this mother would have the courage to share the gospel with her employee in a way that honors You and respects workplace boundaries. Give her opportunities to speak life and truth into this situation, and let Your Word not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with godly counsel and support. Provide them with wise and compassionate professionals who can guide them through this difficult time. We pray that they would all come to know You as their Lord and Savior, and that they would experience the transformative power of Your love.

We declare that this family is not without hope. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), the God who restores (Joel 2:25), and the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). We trust in Your promises, and we ask that You would move in this situation for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you and your employee, standing in faith with them. We're lifting up this precious family, especially the young daughter who's hurting, to our loving Father. We ask for His healing touch on her wounds, His comfort to wrap around her, and His unmistakable presence to reassure her of His love. We pray for wisdom for her mother, navigating the legal system and her daughter's pain, trusting in God's strength and peace to guide her. We ask God to open her heart to receive the fullness of the gospel, and to protect the younger daughter's heart and mind. We're believing for unity, healing, and restoration in this family, and for opportunities for your employee to share God's love and truth in the workplace. We declare that this family is not without hope, trusting in God's healing, restoring power, and His ability to make all things new. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
