We lift up this situation with a heavy heart, recognizing the seriousness of threats against any individual. First, we must acknowledge that our prayers are made in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."* (John 16:23 WEB). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to God’s protection, wisdom, and peace.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with urgency and faith, asking for Your divine protection over this individual. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2 WEB). We pray that You would surround him with Your angels, that no harm would come near him, and that every threat would be rendered powerless in the face of Your mighty hand. Shield him from all evil, both seen and unseen, and grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we also pray for wisdom for those responsible for his safety. Guide their steps, sharpen their discernment, and let Your light expose any darkness that seeks to bring harm. We rebuke every spirit of fear, violence, and intimidation in Jesus’ name, for *"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Beyond physical safety, we pray for his soul. Lord, if he does not yet know You, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* (John 14:6 WEB). May he come to understand the salvation that is found only in Christ, and may his heart be softened to receive Your love and grace.
We also lift up those who may be making these threats. Father, we ask that You would intervene in their lives, convict their hearts, and turn them away from violence. Let them see the error of their ways and come to repentance, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4 WEB).
Finally, Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty. You hold all things in Your hands, and nothing happens outside of Your will. We rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to be instruments of Your peace in this situation.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
