Elohei Chasdi, you are my stronghold and the God who shows me lovingkindness. I confess that I do not always look to you as my stronghold but rather attempt to solve my problems on my own. Forgive me for neglecting to make you the focal point when I am facing various trials or heartache. Forgive me for when I have turned to other means to try and find comfort instead of turning to your faithful kindness and goodness.
