Eldest child Prayers

We understand that you are standing in need of a miracle for your eldest child. We will pray for his sobriety, love, and peace in his heart, as well as for your peace. Firstly, we notice that Jesus' name was not mentioned in this prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
The Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. First Timothy 2:5 WEB And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12.
The roller-coaster of emotions you're experiencing is understandable, but remember that God is a God of peace, not of confusion. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB.
Regarding your eldest child, we must remember that God loves him even more than you do. God desires that all people would come to know Him and live lives that are pleasing to Him, Turn away from evil, and do good. Search for peace, and pursue it. 1 Peter 3:11 WEB.
We will pray for your eldest child to learn to love himself in a way that aligns with God's will. True love comes from God, and it is not merely an emotional feeling, but a commitment to act in accordance with God's principles. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. 1 John 4:7 WEB.
Concerning sobriety, we pray that God will give your eldest child the strength to overcome any addictions or sinful habits. And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 WEB.

Father, we pray for this dear mother's peace. Comfort her heart and calm her mind as she trusts in You. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her. First Peter 5:7 WEB
Lord, we also lift up her eldest child to You. We pray that You will deliver him from any strongholds in his life and help him to turn away from any sinful behaviors. Help him to learn to love himself in a godly way and to find his identity in You.
We pray for his sobriety, that You will give him the strength to overcome any addictions and live a life that is pleasing to You. Fill his heart with Your love and peace, and help him to pursue righteousness and holiness.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
