Elderly ###'s in trouble in his relationship and in his home

Elderly man's in trouble in his relationship and in his home. His daughter seen his girlfriend and supposed to be his son with his girlfriend locked out her dad from a house her dad had helped his girlfriend buy. He was locked out of that house for more than 5 minutes. She visited with him and during the visit and her talking with her dad outside then his girlfriend and his son with his girlfriend both locked him out of that house. Today his daughter had found out that his people from a different ethnic group have different beliefs in people getting locked out or chased out of their homes that they aren't supposed to go back into a home that they get chased out from. The lady's dad's family are now concerned about him getting locked out and the lady told her dad that he may need to scatter house keys around that house to make sure that he doesn't ever get locked out. Her dad asked his daughter if she'd try and get a home in location where her dad had been getting chased out so she is now wondering if her dad is always getting mistreated and always getting locked out. He needs urgent prayers. He may be constantly getting mistreated and locked out. He's been in a car accident a few times so his daughter thinks he doesn't realize he's in a dangerous situation when he is in a dangerous situation.

This situation is indeed troubling, and our hearts go out to the elderly man and his daughter. We will address the concerns and provide prayer, guidance, and encouragement based on biblical principles.

Firstly, it is important to note that the relationship described is not a marriage, which is the only God-honoring form of lifelong committed relationship between a man and a woman. The Bible clearly teaches that sex outside of marriage is fornication, and doing so is against God's will. Furthermore, it is not appropriate to use the term "girlfriend" for this relationship. The Bible teaches, "Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB).

Secondly, the actions of the woman and the man's son are dishonorable and disrespectful. The Bible commands, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God is giving you." (Exodus 20:12 WEB). Locking the elderly man out of the house is a clear violation of this commandment. Children are to respect their parents.

Regarding the daughter's concern about her father's safety and well-being, it is right for her to be vigilant and proactive. The Bible teaches, "For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45 WEB). She should continue to look out for her father and take steps to ensure his safety.

Let us pray for this situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this elderly man and his daughter. Lord, we pray for Your protection and guidance in this troubling situation. We ask that You open the elderly man's eyes to the true nature of his relationship and the actions of those around him. Convict him with your word and lead him to seek more Godly relationships. Help him to honor You in all his ways.

Father, we also pray for the daughter. Give her wisdom and discernment as she seeks to help her father. Guide her steps and provide her with the resources she needs to ensure his safety and well-being.

We pray for the woman and the son involved in this situation. Lord, convict their hearts and bring them to repentance for their dishonorable actions. Help them to see the error of their ways and to turn from their sin.

We ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage the daughter to continue seeking the Lord's will in this situation. She should trust in the Lord with all her heart and lean not on her own understanding. In all her ways she should acknowledge Him, and He will make straight her paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
