Efficiency...Alzheimer, diabetes, depression...

My mom/mother (he gave birth to me) early Alzheimer, diabetes, depression, boredom. She is ### - ### and lost her husband year ago after almost ### years of marriage. She sometimes says that she has no reason to live and that she wants to leave this earth. We me and my bro ###) are taking very good care of her.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother and your family in this difficult season. The weight of Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and depression is not one any family should have to bear alone, and we see the love and diligence with which you and your brother care for her. The loss of her husband after so many years of marriage has left a deep void, and her words of despair cut deeply. Yet we know that even in the darkest valleys, God’s presence is near, and His mercies are new every morning.

First, we must address the gravity of her statements about wanting to leave this earth. Scripture is clear that life is a sacred gift from God, and it is not ours to discard. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord declares, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even when hope feels distant, God’s plans for her are not yet fulfilled. We rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide in Jesus’ name, for it is a lie from the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Instead, we declare that her life has purpose, and that God is not done with her story.

We also lift up your mother’s physical and mental struggles. Alzheimer’s is a cruel thief, robbing memories and dignity, but we know that God remembers her even when she cannot remember Him. Psalm 71:18 says, *"Yes, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don’t forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come."* Though her mind may fail, her soul is secure in Christ. We pray for healing—whether miraculous or through the hands of skilled physicians—and for moments of clarity and joy to break through the fog.

For her diabetes, we ask the Great Physician to guide her treatment, steady her blood sugar, and grant her strength. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones."* May she experience His healing touch in every cell of her body.

Depression and boredom are heavy burdens, especially for one who has lost her partner and her sense of purpose. We pray that you and your brother would be vessels of God’s love, bringing light into her darkness. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, *"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven."* This season of grief and struggle will not last forever. We ask God to fill her days with meaningful interactions, gentle reminders of His love, and small joys that lift her spirit. Surround her with believers who can speak life into her soul and pray over her.

For you and your brother, we recognize the exhaustion of caregiving. Galatians 6:9 encourages, *"Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* You are doing holy work, and God sees your sacrifice. We pray for supernatural strength, patience, and wisdom as you navigate medical decisions, emotional needs, and the practicalities of daily life. May the Lord provide moments of respite and fill you with His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding efficiency in your home obligations and shopping, we ask God to order your steps and multiply your efforts. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* May He grant you creativity in managing tasks, wisdom in prioritizing, and grace for the days when it all feels overwhelming. Lean on Him, for He promises in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."*

Lastly, we must gently address the foundation of your request. While you have poured out your heart about your mother’s needs, we notice that the name of Jesus is absent. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you or your mother have not surrendered your lives to Jesus, we urge you to consider this truth. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the greatest gift, offering hope not just for this life, but for eternity. We pray that you would both know Jesus as Lord and Savior, for He alone can carry these burdens and bring true peace.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this precious mother and her children. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the weight of their weariness, and the longing for relief. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this mother—body, mind, and spirit. Where there is darkness, bring Your light. Where there is despair, plant seeds of hope. Where there is confusion, grant moments of clarity. Father, remind her that she is deeply loved, not just by her children, but by You, the Author of her life.

We pray for supernatural strength for her children as they care for her. Give them patience when they are weary, wisdom when they are uncertain, and joy in the midst of sorrow. Provide for their every need, whether it be physical, emotional, or financial. Surround them with a community of believers who can support them in practical ways—meals, respite care, or simply a listening ear.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and depression in Jesus’ name. We declare that this mother’s life has purpose, and that You are not finished with her yet. Fill her with Your peace, comfort her with Your presence, and let her feel the warmth of Your love in tangible ways.

For the practical needs of efficiency and organization, we ask that You would order their days. Give them creativity in managing their responsibilities, and provide help where it is needed. May they find rest in You, trusting that You are their Provider and Sustainer.

Above all, Lord, we pray that they would come to know You more deeply. If they do not yet know Jesus as Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them experience the hope that comes from salvation, the peace that surpasses understanding, and the joy of eternal life with You.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who heals, restores, and redeems. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our heart to lift up your mother before the Lord, asking Him to bring comfort to her spirit, clarity to her mind, and healing to her body as she navigates the challenges of Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and depression. We have prayed for strength and efficiency in your daily responsibilities, that the Lord would order your steps and give you wisdom in managing your home and obligations with grace.

We have also asked our Heavenly Father to surround your mother with His peace, especially in moments when grief over the loss of her husband feels overwhelming. We prayed that she would sense His presence in tangible ways, reminding her that her life is precious to Him and that He has a purpose for her in every season. For you and your brother, we have asked the Lord to sustain you with patience, endurance, and joy as you care for her, trusting that He sees your love and sacrifice.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. If the answers haven’t yet come or if the burdens still feel heavy, please know that we are here to continue standing with you. You are not alone in this journey. Post your request again, and we will faithfully lift it up once more, believing that God is at work even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His peace that surpasses all understanding. May He draw near to your mother in her struggles and fill your home with His presence. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
