Disciple of Prayer
My friend and I are planning to go to Germany for MS, but my friend has financial problems, and also her father is not accepting her going. Please pray for her to change her father's mind, and also pray for the financial problem to change. It's our dream to study MS in Germany so please pray for her to get help financially. Help to resolve her financial problems in the name of Jesus amen. Her name is ###.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your friend and her deep desire to pursue higher education in Germany. First, we must acknowledge that all blessings, provision, and wisdom come from God alone, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Without faith in Him, we cannot approach God in prayer or expect His intervention. If your friend does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge her to repent of her sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender her life to Him, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12).

Now, we turn to the specific burdens you’ve shared. The Word of God tells us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We believe that God has a plan for your friend’s life, and if this dream of studying in Germany aligns with His will, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. However, we must also submit to the authority God has placed in her life—her father. The Bible is clear in Ephesians 6:1-2, *"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’"* While we pray for her father’s heart to soften, we must also encourage your friend to honor him, seek his wisdom, and trust that God can work through even the most difficult circumstances.

Financial provision is another great concern, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in the name of Jesus and declare that God is able to open doors of opportunity, scholarships, grants, or unexpected provision. However, we must also caution against presumption—God’s provision often comes through wisdom, hard work, and stewardship. Proverbs 21:5 reminds us, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."* We encourage your friend to seek godly counsel, explore all financial aid options, and trust God’s timing.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up our sister [###] to You, asking that You would move powerfully in her life. Father, we pray for her father’s heart—that You would soften it, give him wisdom, and help him see Your hand in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will make her paths straight (Proverbs 3:6).

Lord, we ask for Your supernatural provision over her finances. You know her needs even before she asks (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide scholarships, part-time work, or unexpected blessings to cover her expenses. Teach her to rely on You and to walk in faith, not fear.

Father, if this dream of studying in Germany is not Your will, we ask that You redirect her steps to the path You have prepared. Give her peace, patience, and trust in Your perfect plan. Above all, draw her closer to You, that she may know You as her Provider, Protector, and Lord.

We rebuke every spirit of doubt, anxiety, and rebellion in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your will shall be done in her life, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen."*

We encourage your friend to seek God’s will above her own desires, to honor her father, and to trust that God’s plans for her are good (Jeremiah 29:11). If she does not yet know Christ, we urge her to surrender her life to Him, for He alone holds the keys to true peace, provision, and purpose. May the Lord guide her every step.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting up your friend's situation to the Lord. We've been praying for her, believing that God is more than able to turn her father's heart and provide for her needs. We're claiming Philippians 4:19 over her, trusting that God will supply all her needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We've also been interceding for her, asking God to give her wisdom and discernment in navigating her relationship with her father. We're praying that she would honor him, as Ephesians 6:1-2 tells us, and that God would use this situation to draw them both closer to Him.

As for the financial aspect, we're claiming Malachi 3:10-11, believing that God will pour out a blessing so great that there won't be room enough to contain it. We're also praying for divine appointments, open doors, and unexpected provision.

Let's continue to stand in faith with her, knowing that our God is faithful and will not let her down. Let's encourage her to keep seeking God's face, to trust in His timing, and to walk in obedience to His Word. We're here for her, and we're confident that God is too. Let's keep lifting her up in prayer, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
