We lift up Mr. Eddie, the EPISD school bus driver, with heavy hearts, asking our Heavenly Father to restore his health completely. It is clear how much he is missed by those who depend on him, and we join in praying for his swift recovery so he may return to his important work. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We ask that You touch Mr. Eddie with Your healing hand, strengthen his body, and renew his spirit. Lord, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your mercy and power to restore him to full health. We pray that You would also give him peace and comfort during this time of illness, reminding him of Your constant presence and love.
We also want to encourage those praying for Mr. Eddie to continue standing in faith, as your request reminds us to "keep praying until Father God answers." This persistence in prayer is pleasing to God, as seen in Luke 18:1, "He spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up." Let us not grow weary in lifting up Mr. Eddie, trusting that God hears our cries and will answer according to His perfect will.
In addition, we want to gently remind everyone that our prayers are made effective through faith in Jesus Christ. It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to turn to Him today, confess your sins, and invite Him into your heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up Mr. Eddie to You. We ask that You would lay Your healing hands upon him and restore his health completely. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan for Mr. Eddie’s life. Strengthen him, Lord, and give him the endurance to overcome this illness. Surround him with Your peace and comfort, and let him feel Your presence in a powerful way.
We also pray for those who are praying for Mr. Eddie, that You would fill them with hope and perseverance. Help them to trust in Your promises and to continue seeking You with all their hearts. Father, we ask that You would use this situation to draw Mr. Eddie and all of us closer to You, deepening our faith and reliance on Your unfailing love.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
