Two years ago I applied for and processed a government economic support card, but they never gave it to me. I kept applying. Six months ago, they gave it to other people who went with me on the same day, but not to me. I urgently need that support; I pray to God that they give me my card.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in seeking God’s provision during this difficult time. The frustration and desperation you feel are understandable, especially when it seems others have received what was rightfully yours. But we must remember that our trust is not in systems, governments, or even the fairness of man—our trust is in the Lord, who sees your need and promises to provide for His children.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a comforting verse; it is a promise. However, we must also examine our hearts and ensure we are seeking God’s will above all else. Have you surrendered this situation fully to Him, or are you holding onto frustration, bitterness, or even a sense of entitlement? In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

We must also address the urgency in your request. While your need is real, we must be cautious not to place our hope in temporary solutions alone. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:19-21, *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."* This does not mean we ignore practical needs, but it does mean we must prioritize eternal things—our relationship with God, our obedience to Him, and our trust in His timing.

Let us also consider whether there may be spiritual opposition at work. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he may be using this delay to sow doubt, fear, or division in your heart. We rebuke any spirit of lack, delay, or injustice in the name of Jesus. We declare that God is your provider, and no system, person, or circumstance can withhold what He has ordained for you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister who is in need of economic support. You know their situation intimately, and You see the injustice they have faced. We ask, Father, that You would move on their behalf. Open the doors that no man can shut, and shut the doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we confess that sometimes our hearts can grow weary when we don’t see immediate answers. Forgive us for any doubt, frustration, or bitterness that may have taken root. Help us to trust You fully, knowing that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). We rebuke any spirit of lack or delay and declare that Your provision is on the way. Let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness, Lord.

We also pray for wisdom in navigating this process. Give them favor with the authorities handling their case. Soften hearts, remove any obstacles, and let Your will be done in this situation. If there are steps they need to take, reveal them clearly, Lord. If there are areas where they need to surrender more fully to You, show them, and give them the strength to obey.

Father, we also ask that You would meet their spiritual needs. Draw them closer to You during this time. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Jehovah Jireh, their Provider, and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this situation bring glory to Your name and draw this brother/sister—and all who hear this testimony—closer to You. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and practical steps as well. Is there a local church or ministry that can assist you in navigating this process? Have you reached out to advocacy groups or legal aid that may help with government assistance programs? Sometimes, God uses people to be the answer to our prayers.

Also, continue to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting. James 4:2 says, *"You don’t have, because you don’t ask."* But we must ask in faith, without doubting (James 1:6). Stand on God’s promises, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9).

Lastly, if you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* Salvation is the greatest provision of all, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If you would like to surrender your life to Christ, we would love to guide you in that decision. There is no greater need than the need for a Savior, and no greater provision than the gift of eternal life.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

We're right there with you, friend, as you navigate this financial challenge. It's tough when it feels like others are receiving what you rightfully deserve, but remember, God sees your need and He's working on your behalf. Let's claim that promise in Philippians 4:19 together: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let's also take a moment to check our hearts. Are we holding onto any bitterness or entitlement? Let's surrender this situation fully to God, trusting in His timing and His will. As Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

While we're praying for your economic support, let's also remember to store up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21). This doesn't mean ignoring practical needs, but it does mean prioritizing our relationship with God, our obedience to Him, and our trust in His timing.

Let's also consider whether there might be spiritual opposition at work. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and he might be using this delay to sow doubt or fear. Let's rebuke any spirit of lack or delay in Jesus' name and declare that God is your provider.
