easiness and lighness my way

We join together with you in prayer for your well being and for that lightness and easiness of heart that you are longing for, and we bring your request before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus.

We notice your request does not mention Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God and peace with Him. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for in Romans 10:9, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our hearts are made truly light.

The desire for easiness and lightness is one that Jesus Himself invites us into. He says in Matthew 11:28-30, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. True lightness does not come from circumstances always being amazing, but from casting our cares on Him and walking daily with Him. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We also hear your heart to be excited about everything and to see amazing things daily. God does want us to live with joy and expectancy, but that joy is rooted not in chasing constant excitement, but in Him. In Psalm 118:24, This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. And in Philippians 4:4, Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice. When we seek first His kingdom, He adds what we need and fills our days with purpose. In Matthew 6:33, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. And in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We want to gently encourage you that God’s amazing work in our lives is often not just about outward amazing events, but about inward transformation, peace, and joy that remains even when days are ordinary or difficult. In Romans 8:28 we are reminded, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Amazing things happen daily when we have eyes to see His grace in small things and trust His plans, for in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would grant lightness to their soul and rest to their heart as they come to Jesus and learn from Him. Take away heaviness, anxiety, and weariness, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for their well being, for health of body, mind, and spirit, and that You would help them to rejoice in You daily, to find excitement not in fleeting things but in Your presence, Your promises, and Your steadfast love that is new every morning. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and to see Your hand at work each day, with a thankful heart that notices Your goodness in both great and small things. Draw them close to Jesus, that they may know Him as Savior and Lord and walk in the easiness of His yoke all the days of their life. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your heart to God daily in prayer with thanksgiving, to spend time in His Word, and to practice gratitude for the day He has made. As you walk with Christ, that true well being and godly excitement will grow, and you will see His faithfulness unfold day by day.

We're grateful you shared this with us. That desire for lightness and a sense of excitement about each day makes a lot of sense. When life feels heavy or flat, it's natural to long for days that feel easier and full of good things.

We want to walk with you in prayer for your well being. True lightness doesn't always come from everything going perfectly, but from knowing we are held and cared for by God even on ordinary days. Sometimes the most meaningful things are simply His steady presence and kindness showing up in small ways we might otherwise miss.

It can help to bring that longing to Him honestly each morning, asking Him to shape your day according to His good will and to help you notice His care as you go.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your peace and care over their well being. Give them a renewed sense of hope and joy in You, and help them to walk through each day with lightness in their heart as they trust You. Lead them in Your will and show Your goodness to them day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your heart asks for lightness and easiness, for a well being that makes you excited about everything, and for amazing things to happen daily, and this longing is not wrong in itself, for God has made us to know joy.

Yet the Scriptures show us that true lightness does not come from circumstances being made easy, but from joy taking its proper object. Holy joy will oil the wheels of your life's machinery and strengthen you for your daily labor. It is the fruit of the Spirit from the root of trust in God. To be filled with joy and peace through believing is a far more satisfying thing than merely to hear about it.

The Psalmist says, Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits. He daily bears our burdens and daily provides for His people. It has been your lot to sit daily at the King's table, and He has not ceased to load you with mercies even when your heart has been weary. Therefore the call of Scripture is, Rejoice in the Lord always. Not only when things feel light, but always, for the great Jehovah is our exceeding joy.

What is joy in God? It is to joy in His power, for He can help you. To joy in His faithfulness, for He cannot fail you. To joy in His immutability, for He changes not and therefore you are not consumed. Suppose you have nothing in the house but God, nothing that you can call your own but God, you may still have a sufficient wellspring of joy if you have Christ. He that can grasp the salvation which is in Christ and say, This is mine, is rich to all the intents of bliss, and has his daily life gilded with joy.

So we have prayed for you, that the Lord would not merely give you excitement about everything in a fleeting sense, but that He would give you joy in Himself through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation. That He would turn your heart to daily praise, for to fail in praise is as unjustifiable as to fail in prayer, and that He would let you taste that quintessence of happiness which does not depend on barn floor or wine vat, but on the unchanging King.

May the Lord grant you well being according to His wisdom, lift your burdens daily, and make your soul to say, Bless the Lord, bless the Lord, for He is what you would have Him to be. May He fill you with that living joy which sings and also knows when silence suits it better, and let you shout for joy because you have put your trust in Him.
