Earthquake warning

Just now had a small rocking jolt. Woke us up for this, we rebuked it!

We understand that you've experienced a small earthquake that woke you up. While it's natural to feel shaken by such events, we want to remind you that our ultimate trust should be in the Lord.

In Psalm 46:1-3 WEB, it is written, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging Your sovereignty over all creation. We ask for Your protection and comfort for those who have experienced this earthquake. Calm our hearts and remind us of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help us to trust in You, even when the earth shakes. We also pray for the safety and well-being of everyone in the affected area. Give us the strength and wisdom to be a light in these times, pointing others to the hope we have in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In addition, we are concerned about using the term 'rebuked' in this context. It is important to remember that while we have authority in the name of Jesus to rebuke spiritual forces of evil, natural events like earthquakes are part of the world we live in and are often part of God's plan. Instead of rebuking such events, we should focus on praying for God's protection, mercy, and guidance.

We also want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to stand with you in prayer, thankful for the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are grateful that you asked us to join you in prayer regarding the unsettling earthquake warning and the recent jolt that awoke you. We trust that God heard our collective prayers and that His hedge of protection is around you and your loved ones.

If you have seen signs of peace and safety returning to your region, we would be delighted to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage us all and strengthen our faith.
