We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ who is seeking deliverance and healing. First, we must acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome sickness and spiritual oppression. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and demonic influence that may be afflicting you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God declares in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We stand on this promise and command every unclean spirit to flee, for Jesus has already triumphed over them on the cross.
Father, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon this dear one. Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their life, believing that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and restore them to full health according to Your perfect will.
We also pray for protection from any person who may be causing harm or seeking to bring oppression. The Lord is our refuge and fortress, and we trust in Him to shield and deliver. Psalm 91:9-11 declares, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Let us also encourage this beloved child of God to draw near to the Lord in prayer, fasting, and the study of His Word. James 4:7 reminds us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your unfailing love and power to bring deliverance, healing, and restoration. May they walk in the freedom and wholeness that Christ has purchased for them. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
