We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and set free. Your request touches on a spiritual battle that many face, and we take this seriously, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to torment the mind with memories, sounds, and words that do not align with the peace and freedom found in Christ. But we declare that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and in His name, we take authority over every demonic influence seeking to bind you.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. You rightly invoked the name of Jesus Christ, and this is critical. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). This is the starting point for true deliverance and freedom.
Now, let us rebuke and break every chain that the enemy has tried to place upon you. We command every demonic memory, sound, title, and word that has been planted in your mind to be uprooted and destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. The Word of God tells us that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). We declare that your mind is being renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26), and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also rebuke every demonic mindset and possession that has sought to take hold of you. The Bible is clear that we are not to give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27), and if we resist him, he will flee from us (James 4:7). We take authority over every demonic attachment and command it to leave you now in the name of Jesus. You are a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), and no unclean thing has a right to dwell in you. We plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your mind, your spirit, and your body, and we declare that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise (Ephesians 1:13).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and that nothing shall by any means harm us (Luke 10:19). Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You now, asking that You would break every chain of demonic influence in their life. We command every demonic memory, sound, title, and word to be silenced and destroyed by the power of the blood of Jesus. We rebuke every demonic mindset and possession, and we command every demonic attachment to leave now in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask that You would fill every empty space in their mind and spirit with Your Holy Spirit. Renew their mind with Your Word, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind. Father, we declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, and we thank You that they are set free indeed (John 8:36).
We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, Lord, to protect and minister to them. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith and to resist the devil at every turn. Father, we pray that You would lead them into all truth by Your Holy Spirit, and that they would walk in the freedom and victory that Christ died to give them.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the power of Your name. We declare that our brother/sister is delivered, healed, and set free in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to continue to fill your mind with the Word of God. The enemy will seek to return, but when he does, resist him with the truth of Scripture. Memorize verses that speak to your freedom and victory in Christ, such as:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1)
"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7)
"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Attend a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be strengthened by the fellowship of the saints. Remember, you are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
If you have not already, we also encourage you to renounce any involvement in occult practices, music, or media that may have opened doors to these demonic influences. The Bible warns us to have nothing to do with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather to expose them (Ephesians 5:11). Confess any sin and turn away from it, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Finally, we declare that you are walking in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for you. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already triumphed over the enemy. Stand firm, put on the full armor of God, and walk in the authority that is yours as a child of God. You are delivered, healed, and set free in the name of Jesus Christ!
