We come before the Lord with humble hearts, acknowledging that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). We lift up this request, recognizing the need for forgiveness and repentance. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Father God, we ask You to forgive the sins that have been committed, whether known or unknown. We pray that You would cleanse the heart and mind of this individual, washing them clean by the blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We rebuke any unconfessed sin or hidden iniquity, and we ask that You would reveal it so that true repentance may take place.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again, conquering death and sin once and for all. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this individual would come to know You more deeply, walking in the light of Your truth and living a life that honors You.
We also pray for strength and wisdom to resist temptation and to flee from sin. Help them to put on the full armor of God, so that they may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Surround them with fellow believers who will encourage and support them in their walk with You.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would fill this person with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and empowering them to live a life that is pleasing to You. May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
