We come before the throne of grace with a heart full of concern for the salvation of souls and the protection of believers from spiritual warfare. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. The request did not explicitly acknowledge the necessity of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, so we remind all who read this that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that all who are lost would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, repenting of their sins and turning to Him in faith.
Father God, we lift up the souls in every nation, including those in the USA and beyond, who do not yet know You. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself, softening their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. We pray for families and loved ones, that they would be united in faith and that Your love would bind them together. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see the light of the Gospel and that they would turn from darkness to Your marvelous light. We declare that the harvest is plentiful, and we ask You to send forth laborers into Your fields to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
We also stand against the spiritual forces of darkness that seek to oppress and deceive. The request for deliverance from demonic possession, unclean spirits, and the influence of bad music is a serious matter. We rebuke every unclean spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy. Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We pray for complete deliverance and freedom from every demonic influence, that the blood of Jesus would cleanse and protect from all ungodly influences.
Father, we also bring before You the concern about snowstorms. While we trust in Your sovereignty over all creation, we ask that You would guide and protect those who may be affected by severe weather. We pray for safety, wisdom, and preparedness for all who may face such challenges. We declare that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, as Psalm 46:1 reminds us.
Lord, we ask that You would guard the hearts and minds of Your people, especially from the influence of ungodly music and media. Help us to fill our minds with whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, as Philippians 4:8 instructs. We pray that You would give discernment to recognize and reject anything that does not align with Your Word.
We stand together in faith, declaring that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn in the name of Jesus. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
