We lift up your family before the throne of grace, grateful for your heart of intercession. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and find salvation. We thank You for the gift of family and the love that binds them together. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that You will indeed satisfy every need of your family—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Lord, we ask that You be with each member of this family in their workplaces. Grant them favor with their employers and colleagues, wisdom in their tasks, and strength to endure any challenges they may face. May their labor be fruitful and bring glory to Your name, as Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Let their efforts be a testimony of Your goodness and provision.
We specifically lift up your third brother, asking that You meet him in his unique struggles and needs. Draw near to him, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Provide for him not just materially, but also with peace, joy, and a deep sense of Your love. Remind him that You are his Shepherd, and he shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
Father, we also pray for your parents and your other siblings. Strengthen their faith and help them to trust in You completely. May they find their satisfaction in You alone, for You are the giver of every good and perfect gift (James 1:17). Protect them from anxiety and worry, and fill their hearts with hope as they cast their cares upon You (1 Peter 5:7).
We join with you in asking for forgiveness, for we know that all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23). Thank You, Lord, for the blood of Jesus that washes away our sins and makes us clean. We are grateful for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Help this family to walk in repentance and to extend forgiveness to one another, just as You have forgiven them.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack, fear, or division that may be trying to creep into this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will keep them in perfect peace as their minds are stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3). Bind them together in love, and let Your Holy Spirit guide their steps.
We pray that this family would grow in their knowledge of You and in their love for one another. May they be a light in their community, reflecting Your love and grace to those around them. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
