We hear your heartfelt cry for those in need of salvation, and we join you in lifting them up before the throne of grace. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved, for Scripture tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Your desire to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel is a reflection of God’s own heart, and we stand with you in praying for those who do not yet know Him.
We also recognize your personal plea to remain steadfast in your own faith, that you would not return to the ways of your past. This is a battle many believers face, but we are reminded that "if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). The Lord is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you, and we pray that He would strengthen you daily to walk in His truth.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for those who do not yet know Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, soften their hearts to receive Your love, and draw them to Yourself. Lord, we pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB). Break every chain of darkness that blinds them to Your light, and let Your Spirit move mightily in their lives.
Father, we also lift up our brother/sister who has cried out to You today. Thank You for the work You have already done in their life. We ask that You would continue to sanctify them, renew their mind, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may walk in the newness of life You have given them. Guard their heart from the temptations of the past, and let them stand firm in the grace of Christ. May they never forget the freedom and forgiveness they have found in You.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We thank You for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. Strengthen them to resist the devil, and let them flee from every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB). May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which men and women can be saved. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11 WEB), and that power is greater than any struggle or temptation you may face. Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can sharpen you and hold you accountable, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). The enemy would love nothing more than to see you return to your old ways, but resist him, firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:9 WEB), and he will flee from you.
You are not who you once were—you are a child of the Most High God, washed clean by the blood of the Lamb. Walk in that truth every day, and let your life be a testimony to His transforming power. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
