The Lord calls us to confess our sins openly before Him, not in vague or coded terms, for He already knows our hearts. Scripture tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." True repentance requires honesty and a willingness to name our sins before God, trusting in His mercy and grace to cleanse us.
