We come before the throne of grace with this request, lifting up our hearts in prayer. First, we must address the most critical need—salvation. The Bible tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16). If ### or anyone else has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we earnestly pray that they would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and without Christ, we remain lost in sin. If you or anyone reading this has not confessed Jesus as Lord, we urge you to repent and believe in Him today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Now, concerning the request about SNAP benefits and provisions, we acknowledge that God is our ultimate provider. The Lord knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). However, we must also remember that our trust should be in Him, not in earthly systems or programs. We pray that God would open doors of provision, whether through SNAP or other means, and that He would give wisdom in managing resources. But above all, we ask that hearts would be drawn to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).
Father, we lift up ### to You, asking that You would surround her with Your presence. If she does not know You, we pray that Your Holy Spirit would convict her of sin and draw her to repentance. If she is already a believer, we ask that You would strengthen her faith, provide for her needs, and guide her steps according to Your will. We also pray for all those who are lost, that they would hear the gospel and respond in faith. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that would try to steal, kill, or destroy her hope. Instead, we declare that You are her provider, her strength, and her salvation.
We pray that SNAP would not cancel the benefits she relies on, but more importantly, we ask that You would teach her to depend on You alone. Give her wisdom in stewarding what You provide, and help her to trust in Your faithfulness. May she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In all things, we surrender this request to You, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). We trust that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
