We hear your heart’s cry, dear one, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and grace. A hardened heart is a dangerous place, for it resists the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit and dulls our sensitivity to God’s voice. Scripture warns us in Hebrews 3:12-13, "Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today,’ lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin." The enemy would love nothing more than for your heart to grow cold toward the Lord, but we stand in agreement with you that this will not be so.
We must also examine what may be contributing to this hardness. Is there unconfessed sin in your life? Psalm 66:18 says, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened." Have you allowed bitterness, unforgiveness, or worldly distractions to take root? Ephesians 4:31-32 urges us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Or perhaps you have been neglecting time in God’s Word and prayer, which are vital for softening our hearts before Him. Jesus said in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and repentant hearts, asking that You would soften the heart of Your beloved child. Lord, we know that a hardened heart is a work of the enemy, and we rebuke every spirit of unbelief, rebellion, and deception that would seek to distance them from You. We declare that their heart is tender and receptive to Your voice, Your Word, and Your Spirit. Father, search their heart and reveal any areas of sin, bitterness, or idolatry that may be contributing to this hardness. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within them.
Lord, we ask that You would flood their heart with Your love, Your peace, and Your presence. Remind them of Your faithfulness, Your goodness, and Your promises. Help them to draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to them (James 4:8). Strengthen their desire to spend time in Your Word and in prayer, that they may be transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in step with You each day.
We also pray for a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their heart may be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18). Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly believers who will encourage, exhort, and pray for them. Let them be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and grace to those around them.
We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to transform hearts. May they experience the fullness of Your presence and the joy of Your salvation. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Confess any known sin and ask the Lord to reveal anything hidden. Surround yourself with believers who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable. And remember, the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
