We come before the Lord with a humble heart, acknowledging that all wisdom and knowledge come from Him alone. Your request to remove all knowledge of horoscopes and zodiac signs is a powerful step toward rejecting the deceptive practices that seek to draw our focus away from God’s sovereign will. The Bible is clear that we are not to be led by the stars or any form of divination, but by the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (WEB) warns us, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* Horoscopes and zodiac signs fall under these forbidden practices, as they seek to predict the future or guide decisions apart from God’s wisdom.
We also recognize that our minds and hearts must be renewed in Christ. Romans 12:2 (WEB) tells us, *"Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."* The knowledge of these things may linger, but we can choose to reject their influence and fill our minds with God’s truth instead.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. Lord, we ask that You cleanse our minds and hearts from all knowledge and influence of horoscopes, zodiac signs, and any form of divination. We renounce these practices and declare that they have no place in our lives. Your Word says in Colossians 2:8 (WEB), *"Be careful that you don’t let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ."* We choose to align ourselves with Your truth alone.
Father, we ask that You fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may be led by Your wisdom and not by the empty philosophies of this world. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We pray that You would break any chains of curiosity or fascination with these things and replace them with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. Let our trust be fully in You, knowing that You hold our future and guide our steps according to Your perfect will.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, and we reject every lie that seeks to draw us away from You. May our lives reflect Your glory and Your truth, and may we walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture and to seek godly counsel if you have been deeply influenced by these practices. The enemy seeks to deceive, but God’s truth sets us free. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you in prayer and in the truth of God’s Word.
