We come before the throne of grace with this urgent cry for deliverance, lifting up this soul who is under spiritual attack. First, we acknowledge that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ—no demon, no evil spirit, no curse, and no weapon formed against God’s children can prevail when we stand in His authority. The Bible declares in Philippians 2:9-11, *"Therefore God also highly exalted Him, and gave to Him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."*
We rebuke every demonic influence, every evil song, every spirit of oppression, and every attack of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word of God assures us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We stand on this promise, declaring that no weapon formed against this beloved child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every demonic spirit to be crushed, bound, and cast into the abyss, never to return, for Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We also pray for a hedge of protection around this soul, that the Lord would surround them with His angels, as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, that no evil may touch them.
Father, we ask that You fill this precious one with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light and truth of Your Word. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your peace, joy, and love, that they may stand firm in their identity as Your child, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
We also encourage this dear one to immerse themselves in Scripture, for Your Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Let them meditate on Your promises day and night, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your truth. We pray they would seek fellowship with other believers, for iron sharpens iron, and where two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there in their midst (Matthew 18:20).
Lord, we ask that You reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. If there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or idolatry—anything that does not align with Your will—we pray for conviction and repentance. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* We ask for a heart of repentance and a desire to walk in holiness, for without holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
We declare that this soul is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, healing, and restoration over every area of their life that has been touched by the enemy. We pray for divine encounters with You, Lord, that they may experience Your presence in a tangible way and be reminded of Your unfailing love.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we break every chain, cancel every curse, and declare freedom over this beloved one. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that this prayer is heard and answered according to Your perfect will. Amen.
