We lift this request before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s protection and presence in this situation. First, let us affirm that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we are reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:13). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today—confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and surrender your life to Him (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, concerning the one you’ve asked us to pray for, we declare the Lord’s covering over them. The Word of God assures us that He will never leave nor forsake His children (Hebrews 13:5), and His angels are charged to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). We pray that the Lord would surround this individual with His divine protection, shielding them from harm, danger, and the schemes of the enemy. May they walk in the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), knowing that the Lord is their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Father, we ask that You would go before them and make their paths straight (Proverbs 3:6). Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let Your presence be a constant comfort and strength to them. If there are areas in their life where they are walking outside of Your will—whether in relationships, decisions, or habits—we pray that You would convict them gently but firmly, drawing them back into alignment with Your Word. May they seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33) and find their identity and security in You alone.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be attempting to take hold of them. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this individual will not be overcome by fear but will stand firm in the faith, trusting in the Lord’s promises.
Lord, if this person is not yet in a right relationship with You, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Soften their heart to receive the gospel, and let them experience the transformative power of Your love. If they are already Your child, we ask that You would deepen their faith and use them mightily for Your kingdom.
We stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
