We come before you with hearts full of gratitude that you have sought the Lord’s forgiveness, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Your desire for forgiveness is a beautiful reflection of a heart that understands its need for God’s mercy, and we rejoice that you have turned to Him in repentance.
Yet we must gently remind you—and all who seek the Lord—that our prayers are not to be offered in vague or unclear terms, nor should they be directed to a generic "Heavenly Father" without acknowledging the *only* name by which we are saved: Jesus Christ. Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is not by our own righteousness or empty phrases that we approach God, but through the blood of Jesus alone. When we pray, we must come boldly *in His name*, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).
We also notice the use of symbols (#) in your prayer, which are unnecessary in our communication with the Lord. Our prayers should be sincere, direct, and free from distractions. Let us always approach God with reverence, clarity, and the full assurance that He hears us *because of Christ*.
So now, let us pray together for you with a heart fully fixed on Jesus:
*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ, which cleanses us from all sin. We lift up this ### before You, asking that You would grant them a deeper revelation of Your mercy and grace. Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin in their life, bring it to light by Your Holy Spirit, that they may turn from it completely and walk in the freedom of Your forgiveness. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to pray with boldness in the name of Jesus alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. Fill them with the assurance of Your love and the power of Your Spirit to live righteously. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*
Beloved, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through His Word and prayer. If there are specific sins weighing on your heart, bring them before God in repentance, trusting that He is faithful to forgive. And remember: *"Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."* (Romans 10:13, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Walk in the light of His truth, and you will find peace that surpasses all understanding.
