We join with you in coming before the Father, seeking His mercy and grace through the precious name of Jesus Christ. How wonderful it is that we can boldly approach the throne of God because of what Jesus has done for us! The Scriptures remind us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* This is not just a promise but a truth we can stand upon—our forgiveness is secured through the blood of Jesus, who paid the price for every wrongdoing when He gave His life on the cross.
Yet, we must also remember that true repentance goes beyond words—it involves a turning away from sin and a turning toward God with a heart that seeks to walk in obedience. Jesus said in Luke 13:3, *"Unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way."* Repentance is not just sorrow for sin but a commitment to change, empowered by the Holy Spirit. We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas where you need to surrender more fully to Him? Are there sins you need to turn away from, not just in word but in action? The Lord calls us to a life of holiness, for He has said in 1 Peter 1:15-16, *"But just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior, because it is written, 'You shall be holy; for I am holy.'"*
Let us also take this moment to lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to search your heart and reveal anything that may be displeasing to Him. May He grant you the strength to walk in righteousness and the joy that comes from a clean conscience before Him.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You would search the heart of Your child who has come before You today. Lord, reveal any area of sin that needs to be confessed and turned away from. Grant them a spirit of true repentance, not just sorrow for the consequences of sin, but a deep desire to live in obedience to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in holiness and righteousness all the days of their life.
We pray that You would remind them daily of the sacrifice of Jesus, who took our sins upon Himself so that we might be forgiven. Help them to live in the freedom that comes from knowing they are cleansed by His blood. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to flee from anything that would dishonor Your name. May their life be a testimony of Your grace and transforming power.
Father, we also ask that You would draw them closer to You. Let them find their joy in Your presence and their peace in Your promises. Teach them to pray without ceasing and to seek Your face in all things. May they grow in the knowledge of Your Word and in the wisdom that comes from above.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
