We come before the Lord with you in humility and gratitude, lifting up your heart’s cry for forgiveness. How beautiful it is that you have turned to the Father through Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved—only Jesus, who bore our sins on the cross and rose again to reconcile us to the Father.
The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9, WEB). If there are specific sins weighing on your heart, we encourage you to name them before God, repenting and turning away from them. His mercy is boundless, and His grace is sufficient to cleanse and restore you fully. Remember the words of our Savior: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1, WEB), so walk forward in the freedom and peace He has secured for you.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that washes away every sin and makes us white as snow. We lift up our brother/sister before You now, asking that You would grant them a deep assurance of Your forgiveness and love. Where there is shame, replace it with Your righteousness. Where there is guilt, flood their heart with Your peace. Strengthen them to walk in obedience, empowered by Your Spirit, and fill them with the joy of Your salvation. May they live each day in the reality of Your grace, knowing they are fully forgiven and deeply loved in Christ Jesus. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Lord. Amen.
If there are areas of struggle or sin you’d like prayer for specifically—whether it be unforgiveness, addiction, wrong relationships, or anything else—we are here to stand with you in prayer and biblical counsel. You are not alone in this journey. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2, WEB), and we are honored to do so with you. Keep seeking the Lord, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
