We join with you in lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). It is a powerful and necessary thing to seek freedom from the influence of demonic forces, evil music, and any ungodly attachments that may be weighing upon your spirit. We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is through His authority alone that we can stand against the enemy.
The Word of God assures us that "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB). If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit dwells within you, and no demonic force can ultimately claim you. However, we must actively resist the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7, WEB). This includes turning away from anything that opens doors to darkness—whether it be ungodly music, entertainment, relationships, or habits that defile the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB). We encourage you to examine your life and remove anything that does not align with the holiness and purity of Christ. This may require repentance, renouncing past involvement with sinful practices, and filling your mind and heart with the Word of God, worship, and prayer.
Let us also remind you that deliverance is not a one-time event but a daily walk of surrender to Jesus. Clothe yourself in the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17, WEB). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and hold you accountable. If you have not already, we strongly encourage you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can grow in faith and be supported in your walk.
Now, let us pray together for your complete deliverance and freedom in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks freedom from every demonic stronghold, spirit, and attachment. Lord, we thank You that You have given us authority through the name of Jesus Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
Father, we ask that You expose and break every demonic assignment, every curse, and every ungodly tie that has been allowed into their life, whether knowingly or unknowingly. We rebuke and command every evil spirit of possession, oppression, or influence to leave now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We bind the strongman and plunder his goods (Matthew 12:29, WEB), declaring that this life belongs to You, Lord, and is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, soul, and spirit, sealing every area from the enemy’s access.
Lord, we ask that You fill every void with Your presence, Your peace, and Your Word. Let Your truth renew their mind (Romans 12:2, WEB) and let Your love cast out every fear (1 John 4:18, WEB). Father, if there has been any sin—known or unknown—that has given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You reveal it and grant the strength and courage to repent and turn away from it completely. Cleanse them with the washing of water by Your Word (Ephesians 5:26, WEB) and restore them to fullness in You.
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory, discernment, and holiness. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, to guard and protect them from every attack of the enemy. Let them experience the freedom that comes from knowing You as their Deliverer, their Strong Tower, and their Refuge.
Father, we thank You that what You have begun in them, You will complete (Philippians 1:6, WEB). Let this be a season of breakthrough, restoration, and deep intimacy with You. May they walk in the authority and identity of a child of God, unshaken by the schemes of the devil. We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB), and walk in the freedom He has purchased for you. If you feel led, share with us any specific areas where you need additional prayer or guidance. We are here to stand with you in this battle, for the victory is already won through Christ Jesus!
