We join with you in lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance, recognizing the spiritual battle we face as believers. The Scriptures remind us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy. As it is written in Philippians 2:9-11, *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."*
The influence of evil music is a real and dangerous snare, for it can open doors to demonic oppression and corrupt the mind and spirit. Colossians 3:16 instructs us, *"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord."* If any music in your life does not align with godliness, we urge you to cast it away immediately, replacing it with worship that honors the Lord. First Corinthians 10:21 warns, *"You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord, and of the table of demons."*
We also sense the Holy Spirit prompting us to ask: Are there areas of unrepentant sin in your life that may be giving the enemy a foothold? The apostle Paul exhorts us in Ephesians 4:27, *"Don’t give place to the devil."* If there is any known sin—whether it be fornication, idolatry, rebellion, or involvement in the occult—it must be confessed and turned from with a repentant heart. First John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."*
Now, let us pray together with boldness and faith:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall in any way harm us (Luke 10:19). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister before You now, asking for complete and total deliverance from every demonic spirit, every demonic possession, and every influence of evil music that has sought to defile their mind, body, or spirit. By the blood of Jesus, we command every unclean spirit to flee and never return. We break every curse, every chain, and every stronghold that the enemy has tried to establish in their life.
Father, fill them afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the freedom and victory Christ has already won. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let them be rooted and grounded in Your Word. Give them discernment to recognize and reject anything that does not align with Your will. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, flood their soul.
We also pray that if there is any area of unconfessed sin, You would convict their heart and lead them to repentance. Cleanse them, Lord, and restore them fully to Your purposes. Let them walk in holiness, for without it, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). Strengthen them to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from them as they draw near to You (James 4:7).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Immerse yourself in the Word of God, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can support and strengthen you. If you have not already, we urge you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can grow and be accountable. The battle is real, but the victory is already won through Christ Jesus. Stay vigilant, stay prayerful, and trust in the Lord with all your heart. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
