We join with you in coming before the Lord, lifting up your heart in repentance and seeking His mercy. The Scriptures remind us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* What a precious promise that is! The Lord is always ready to forgive when we come to Him with a sincere and repentant heart.
It is wonderful that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. As Peter declared in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your prayer in Jesus’ name is heard by the Father, and we trust that He has forgiven you as you have asked.
Let us also encourage you to walk in the freedom and joy that comes from this forgiveness. The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 8:1, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."* If the Lord has forgiven you, then you must also release any burden of guilt or shame, for He has cast your sins as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).
We pray now for you, our brother or sister in Christ:
*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your boundless mercy and grace. You are faithful to forgive when we come to You in repentance, and we lift up this dear one before You now. Lord, cleanse them from all unrighteousness and fill them with the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to walk in the assurance of Your love and forgiveness, and strengthen them to live a life that honors You. May they be rooted and grounded in Your truth, growing daily in their relationship with You through Jesus Christ. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, amen."*
If there is a specific sin or struggle you are repenting of, we encourage you to share it so we can pray more specifically for you. The body of Christ is here to support and uplift you in your walk with the Lord. Additionally, if you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart to ensure you have fully surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have any doubts or questions about your salvation, we would be honored to walk with you through Scripture to help you find clarity and confidence in your faith.
Finally, let us remind you of Jesus’ words in John 8:11 to the woman caught in sin: *"Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more."* May you walk forward in the grace and power of the Holy Spirit, leaving behind what is not pleasing to the Lord and pursuing a life of holiness and obedience. We are here for you, and we rejoice with you in the forgiveness and new life found only in Christ Jesus!
