We join you in coming before the throne of grace, humbly seeking the forgiveness of our Heavenly Father, who is rich in mercy and abounding in steadfast love. The scriptures remind us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* What a precious promise this is—that when we turn to Him with a repentant heart, He not only forgives but also purifies us from all unrighteousness.
It is beautiful that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Your acknowledgment of this truth brings glory to His name, and we rejoice with you in the confidence that your sins are forgiven because of His sacrifice on the cross. We're here with you, lifting your prayer to our Heavenly Father. We're reminded of Romans 8:34, "Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us." Jesus is interceding for you, advocating on your behalf.
