We join together in lifting up this request before the Lord, gratefully acknowledging that you have brought this need in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, *"In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him"* (Ephesians 3:12, WEB). We praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is through faith in Christ alone that we are cleansed, renewed, and transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The anger and bad attitudes you speak of are not of God, for the Scripture reminds us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB). These are not merely suggestions but commands from the Lord, who calls us to walk in holiness and love. Anger that lingers or festers is dangerous, for *"the wrath of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God"* (James 1:20, WEB). Instead, we are to *"be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger"* (James 1:19, WEB), trusting that God’s way is perfect and His timing is right.

Let us also consider whether this anger or these bad attitudes are rooted in unforgiveness, pride, or unmet expectations. The Lord Jesus taught us to pray, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors"* (Matthew 6:12, WEB). If there is someone you need to forgive—or if you need to seek forgiveness from another—we urge you to take that step in obedience to Christ. Holding onto bitterness only harms your own soul and hinders your relationship with God. *"If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15, WEB). This is not a light matter but a commandment tied to our own forgiveness.

We also encourage you to examine whether these struggles are tied to unrepentant sin in your life. The apostle John warns, *"If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and don’t tell the truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:6-7, WEB). Are there areas of your life where you are walking in disobedience to God’s Word? If so, we urge you to repent and turn to Him, for He is faithful to cleanse and restore.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of mercy, grace, and transformation, and that You do not leave Your children in their sin but call them to holiness. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who has humbly asked for cleansing from all anger and bad attitudes. Father, we know that these things grieve Your Spirit, and we ask that You would search their heart and reveal any root of bitterness, unforgiveness, or sin that needs to be uprooted. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24, WEB).

Lord Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You would flood their heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Replace every ounce of anger with Your love, every harsh word with kindness, and every bad attitude with a spirit of gentleness and self-control. *"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you were also called in one body; and be thankful"* (Colossians 3:15, WEB). Father, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may bear the fruit of *"love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control"* (Galatians 5:22-23, WEB).

If there is unforgiveness in their heart, Lord, we ask that You would soften them and give them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven them. If there is pride, humble them. If there is sin, convict them and lead them to repentance. *"Create in them a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within them"* (Psalm 51:10, WEB). May they walk in the freedom and victory that You have purchased for them on the cross.

We also pray for protection over their mind and emotions. The enemy would love to stir up strife and discord, but we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Lord, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them not be conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of their mind (Romans 12:2).

Father, we thank You that You are at work in them, both to will and to do according to Your good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). Strengthen them to walk in obedience, and let their life be a testimony of Your grace and power. May they *"be blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world"* (Philippians 2:15, WEB).

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on God’s Word daily, for it is *"living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart"* (Hebrews 4:12, WEB). Spend time in prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers, for these are the means by which God strengthens and sustains us. If anger or bad attitudes rise up again, take them captive immediately and submit them to Christ. *"Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB).

Stand firm in the faith, knowing that *"he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6, WEB). We are praying for you and trust that God will complete this work in you for His glory.

We're right here with you, friend. We understand that anger and bad attitudes can be heavy burdens to bear. But remember, we serve a God who is more than capable of lifting those burdens from us. In His name, we ask for cleansing, for peace, and for a heart that reflects His love and kindness.

Let's take a moment to meditate on Colossians 3:12-13, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Let's strive to live in a way that reflects these qualities, knowing that we are forgiven and loved by our Heavenly Father.

We're praying for you, that you would feel the weight of anger and bitterness lifted, and that you would be filled with His peace and love. We're here for you, every step of the way. Let's keep walking together in faith and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
