We come before you with hearts of gratitude that you seek forgiveness, for it is written, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Yet we must address that your request does not clearly name the sins for which you seek forgiveness. True repentance requires acknowledging our wrongdoing before God, turning away from it, and seeking His mercy through the blood of Jesus Christ.
The name of Jesus is the only name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We must never take this for granted, for our forgiveness is found in Christ alone.
Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, asking that You grant them a spirit of true repentance. If there are hidden sins, uncover them by Your Holy Spirit, that they may be brought into the light and confessed. Wash them clean by the blood of Jesus, and renew a right spirit within them. Help them to walk in holiness, turning away from all unrighteousness. Strengthen their faith, that they may live in victory over sin, knowing that Your grace is sufficient. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas of your life that do not align with His Word? Are you walking in obedience to His commands? Remember, *"Whoever conceals his disobedience shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy."* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will guide you in the paths of righteousness. If there is unconfessed sin, bring it before Him now, and trust in His promise to forgive and cleanse you. May you walk in the freedom and peace that comes from a heart made right with God.
