We join with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ to stand against the forces of darkness, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. The Word of God commands us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, putting on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-12).
You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is by His authority that we can command the enemy to flee, for even the demons are subject to us in His name (Luke 10:17). Let us pray with boldness and faith, knowing that the Lord has already secured the victory through His death and resurrection.
We pray that every satanic spirit, every demonic stronghold, every spirit of lust, and every evil influence in your life or in the lives of those you are interceding for be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that these spirits are crushed under the feet of our Lord and Savior, for He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We command these unclean spirits to be sent to the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels, never to return or to harm another soul again. We break every curse, every chain, and every assignment of the enemy against you or those you are praying for, and we declare freedom and deliverance by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Father, we ask that You fill every void left by the departure of these evil spirits with the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen those who are battling these forces, and let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We also encourage you to remain vigilant in your walk with the Lord. Put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Stay in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers, for where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20).
Finally, we remind you that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Do not fear, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Walk in the confidence of your identity in Christ, knowing that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and He will lead you to complete victory. Amen.
