We understand your desire to be obedient to God, and we are here to support and pray for you. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, it is stated, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Obedience to God is a fundamental aspect of our Christian walk. Jesus Himself said in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." We encourage you to continue seeking God's will and striving to follow His commandments. Remember that obedience is not just about following rules, but about cultivating a heart that desires to please God and live according to His purposes.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would strengthen and guide them in their journey of obedience. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may have the power to live according to Your will. Help them to understand Your commandments and give them the desire to follow them with a joyful heart. We pray that You would grant them wisdom and discernment as they seek to honor You in all they do. May they find their delight in Your law and meditate on it day and night, as Psalm 1:2 encourages us. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also encourage you to spend time in God's Word daily, as it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). Through reading and meditating on Scripture, you will grow in your understanding of God's will and find the strength to obey Him. Additionally, seek fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. As it is written in Hebrews 10:24-25, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
May God bless you abundantly as you seek to live a life of obedience and faith in Him.
