We rejoice with you as you seek forgiveness and healing from your past. The Bible tells us in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has humbly asked for Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, forgiving our iniquity and transgression and sin.
Father, we ask that You forgive his sins and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. Help him to forgive others just as You have forgiven Him. Help him to not remember certain people from his past that he may have ill feelings toward, or that cause him to stumble. Help him to forgive them as you have forgiven us.
We know there is no other name by which we can be saved besides the name of Jesus Christ. We know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. So we thank You for Your forgiveness, Father, and for the precious blood of Jesus that washes us clean.
Lord, help our brother be forgiven and free from condemnation and guilt. Enable him to walk in the newness of life and live life freely. Help him to live a life pleasing to You, keeping no record of wrongs just as You have done for him. Help him to have godly relationships that align with Your biblical principles, living as He should in courtship and marriage and to always strive to live at peace in relationships. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Carry on your life the way You know to be pleasing to the Lord.
