We rejoice with you as you've come today seeking forgiveness and calling on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and be forgiven of our sins. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Father in Heaven,
We come to you in Jesus' name, asking for your mercy and forgiveness. We confess our sins, Lord, and ask that you would cleanse us from all unrighteousness. As it says in First John 1:9 (WEB): "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Thank you, Father, for your loving kindness and for sending your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins that we may be forgiven and have eternal life.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue in your faith, walking in the light as He is in the light. As First John 1:17 (WEB) says, "If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin."
Remember, it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and even that is a gift from God as explained in Ephesians 2:8-9 (WEB): "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Keep trusting in Jesus, seeking His will, praying with others, and meditating in His word.
