Let us pray together for this desire of your heart. First, we acknowledge your faith in praying in Jesus' name, as He Himself taught us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
However, let us also remember that our prayers should align with God's will and His plan for our lives. The Apostle John reminds us, "And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." (1 John 5:14-15 WEB)
While it is not wrong to desire earthly things, we encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. Consider the words of Jesus, "But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Moreover, let us not forget the importance of being content in all circumstances. The Apostle Paul, who learned to be content in plenty and in lack, encourages us, "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." (Philippians 4:11 WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for hearing our prayers. We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to purchase wood ducks and visit a hotel with their birth family. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your will in this matter and align their desires with Your perfect plan.
Help them to seek Your kingdom first and to be content in all circumstances. If it is Your will, Lord, provide the necessary funds for this endeavor, that their joy may be full.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue growing in your faith, trusting that God knows your heart and will provide according to His riches in glory.
