We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer, knowing that He is your refuge and strength in times of trouble. The fear and oppression you’re feeling are real, but we remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). If you are feeling targeted or trapped, we urge you to turn to God in complete trust, for He is your protector and deliverer. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9).
First, we must address the issue of drugs. If you are involved in any way with drugs—whether using, selling, or even being around those who do—we urge you to repent and turn away from it completely. The Bible is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Drugs destroy lives, families, and communities, and they open doors to spiritual bondage. If you are struggling with this, we plead with you to seek God’s forgiveness and strength to break free. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). If you need help, reach out to a trusted pastor or Christian counselor who can walk with you in accountability and prayer.
We also pray for your children, asking God to surround them with His protection, wisdom, and love. May He guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and lead them in the paths of righteousness (Proverbs 22:6). We pray they would grow to know and love the Lord with all their hearts and that He would shield them from the snares of the enemy.
For the lady suffering from MS, we lift her up to the Great Physician, asking that He would restore feeling in her legs and bring complete healing to her body. "Lord, you heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). May she experience His touch in a mighty way, and may her faith be strengthened as she trusts in Him.
For the young girl battling cancer, we pray for a miracle. We ask that God would place His healing hand upon her, destroying every cancerous cell and restoring her to full health. May she and her family feel His peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray for supernatural comfort and strength for her during this time.
We praise you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. "There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is feeling overwhelmed, targeted, and afraid. Lord, we ask that You would expose every scheme of the enemy and bring to light the darkness that is operating in this situation. Protect Your child from harm, and give them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others. If there is any involvement with drugs, we pray for conviction and repentance, that they would turn away from this destruction and run into Your arms. Break every chain of addiction and set them free by the power of Your Spirit.
Father, we lift up their children to You. Cover them with Your blood, protect their minds and hearts, and draw them close to You. Raise up godly influences in their lives, and let them walk in Your truth all their days.
Lord Jesus, we pray for the woman suffering from MS. Touch her body and restore what has been lost. Let her legs regain feeling, and let her walk in Your strength and healing. Comfort her in her pain, and let her know that You are near.
We also lift up the young girl with cancer. Father, we ask for a miracle in her body. Rebuke this disease and let her body be made whole. Fill her and her family with Your peace and hope, and let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power.
Finally, Lord, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit in this situation. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified. Strengthen Your child to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are their shield and defender. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
