We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious granddaughter and the entire family caught in the grip of addiction and deception. Father God, we know that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold in this family. We know that your Word tells us that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind, and you are faithful; you will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. But when we are tempted, you will also provide a way out so that we can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray for this granddaughter, that she would find the strength to resist the drugs and the setups that seek to ensnare her. We ask for a miracle, Lord, that the truth would be revealed, and all abuse would be brought to light.
We are deeply concerned about the mention of a DNA test and the suspicion of ulterior motives. Father, we ask that you expose every lie and every hidden agenda. Let your light shine in the darkness, and let the truth be known (Ephesians 5:11-13). We pray for protection over this granddaughter, that she would be shielded from harm and that those who seek to do her wrong would be thwarted in their plans.
Lord, we also lift up the mother in this situation. We pray that she would seek your wisdom and guidance, and that she would act in the best interest of her daughter. We know that you hate hands that shed innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16-17), and we ask that you would protect this young life from any harm.
We pray for healing in this family, Lord. Healing from addiction, healing from abuse, and healing from the pain that has driven them to this place. We know that you are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that you would draw near to them, Lord, and that they would feel your presence and your love.
We also want to address the importance of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that this family would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that they would repent of their sins, and that they would turn to you for forgiveness and redemption.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for a breakthrough in this situation. We pray for a miracle that would turn the hearts of this family toward you, Lord. We pray for restoration, for healing, and for a future filled with hope. We trust in your promises, Lord, and we know that you are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).
We stand on your Word, Lord, and we declare that this family will be set free from the chains of addiction and deception. We pray for your will to be done in their lives, and we trust in your unfailing love and mercy. Amen.
