Driving protection - please pray

Heavenly Father, for safe travel and protection for my loved one, his friend and vehicle on long drive. Thank You, in Jesus' name Amen.

We join with you in lifting up your loved one and his friend as they embark on this long drive, seeking God's protection and guidance throughout their journey. We are reminded of Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won't strike your foot against a stone."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine protection and guidance for our beloved brother and his friend as they embark on this long drive. We pray that You would dispatch Your angels to watch over them, to guard them in all their ways, and to keep them safe from all harm and danger. Lord, we ask that You would grant them alertness and focus as they drive, and that Your peace would fill their hearts. We claim Your promise that no weapon forged against them will prevail, and that You will bring them safely to their destination and back again.

We also pray for the vehicle they are traveling in, that it would function properly and that no mechanical failures would occur. We ask that You would surround the vehicle with Your hedge of protection, and that no accident or collision would befall them.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise of Your protection. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for their safety and to trust in the Lord's protection.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
