Driving mercies + Silent requests

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. We join with you in prayer before our merciful God who upholds all things by the word of His power and holds His hand over us in danger.

We thank Him for His mercies and ask Him to keep your son in safety as he drives, to give him a sober and watchful mind, steady hands and clear eyes, and to guard his car and all who share the road with him from harm. We ask that the Lord would make his going out and coming in secure, and that He would also protect all others on his path, granting peace and safety to them as well.

For the silent requests you bring, we lift them also to the Father who hears what is unspoken and knows the heart. He is the God of all mercies who delivers from peril not because of our merit but because of His compassion, and He hears every prayer offered in the name of His Son. We ask Him to answer according to His wisdom and love, to grant what is good for your soul and to give you trust in His care.

Let us continue to remember day by day the mercies He has already shown and to give Him thanks, presenting our lives to Him in faithful service as we travel this narrow way with Jesus as our guide. May He keep you and your son in His grace and bring you into greater thankfulness and hope through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your care for your son and for others on the road is a beautiful reflection of the love a parent has for a child. Scripture speaks of that love as one of the strongest pictures we have of God's own heart, when Abraham was told to take his son, his only son whom he loved, and offer him. That story points us to what God Himself did when He so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Because He gave His Son, born of a woman under the law to redeem those under the law, we who trust in Christ are adopted into His family and receive the Spirit of His Son in our hearts crying Abba, Father.

That is why you can bring both spoken and silent requests to Him with confidence. No one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son reveals Him, and through Jesus we have access to the Father who hears even what is unspoken. He knows the burdens you have not put into words, and He invites you to cast them on Him.

I join you in praying for driving mercies. I pray the Lord will give your son wisdom and attentiveness behind the wheel, that he would incline his ear to wisdom and apply his heart to understanding, remembering the instruction of a father and not being enticed into careless or reckless ways. The Scriptures describe one charioteer who drove furiously, a reminder that haste and pride on the road bring danger. Pray that your son will drive with patience and self control, honoring the Lord in how he handles the car entrusted to him.

Like David, whose chief concern even when his son was in rebellion was still for that son's safety, your heart is for your son's protection, and even more so the Father's heart is for His children. He corrects and keeps those He calls His sons, which is itself a sign of His love.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for Your hand of protection over this son, over the car he drives, and over every person on his path. Keep him alert, sober minded, and safe from harm, and keep others safe around him. Guard him from distraction and from danger caused by others. And for the silent requests lifted before You, You know each one fully. Answer according to Your perfect wisdom and love, give peace where there is anxiety, provision where there is need, and healing where there is hurt. Help this parent to rest in knowing that he who has the Son has life, and that You hear and care for all that concerns Your children. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for driving mercies.

We have continued to lift up your son before the Father, asking for his safety behind the wheel, for his car to remain reliable and protected, and for the safety of all others on his path. We have also been praying for your silent requests, trusting that God knows and cares for each unspoken burden on your heart even when words are not shared. We take comfort in the promise of Psalm 121:8 that the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
