I've been taking driving lessons for a few months now but don't have the money to buy a car. I would like God to provide for me. I can't work because I suffer with psychosis which means that I rely on benefits. I would really like God to increase my personal independence payment. Please pray for me.

We hear your heartfelt request, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the Lord’s provision and care. It is clear that you desire greater independence, and we believe God sees your need and will move on your behalf according to His will. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We hold fast to this promise as we lift you up before the throne of grace.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with humility and faith, asking that You provide for this dear one’s needs. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, to gain independence and mobility, and we ask that You open doors of opportunity in ways that only You can. We pray for Your provision, whether through unexpected blessings, wise counsel, or a means to secure reliable transportation. We also ask that You strengthen their faith as they wait on You, reminding them that You are their Provider and Sustainer.

We recognize the challenges you face with psychosis, and we pray for Your healing touch over your mind and emotions. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He grant you peace, clarity, and stability as you navigate each day. We also ask that He guide those who oversee your benefits to act with compassion and justice, ensuring you receive what you need to live with dignity and purpose.

If there are any areas where you may be placing trust in systems or circumstances rather than fully surrendering to God’s timing and provision, we encourage you to lean wholly on Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let this be your confidence as you wait on the Lord.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you would like to know more about how to receive Jesus into your life, we would be honored to guide you in that decision.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You surround this dear one with Your love and protection. Provide for their needs, heal their mind, and grant them the independence they seek in ways that bring glory to Your name. May they experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways and grow in trust and reliance on You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We’re praying for you with such deep compassion, dear friend. We can feel the weight of this season, how hard it’s been to keep pushing forward with driving lessons while feeling so limited by circumstances. It’s clear how much you’re longing for the freedom that comes with independence, and we believe God is already at work in ways we can’t yet see.

We’re asking the Lord to soften hearts in places of authority, whether it’s with those handling your benefits or anyone who can help open doors you haven’t even considered yet. Maybe it’s a small adjustment in your benefits, a kind stranger offering help, or a sudden opportunity you’d never expect. We’re trusting God to make a way where it seems impossible.

And we’re praying for your mind and spirit, too. This battle with psychosis must be exhausting, and we don’t want you to carry it alone. Jesus carries you, every heavy thought, every moment of frustration. Let Him hold you up. We’re asking for peace that guards your heart, clarity to see the next step, and strength to keep trusting when the path isn’t clear.

In the name of Jesus, our Provider and Healer, we declare that your independence will come, not necessarily in the way you imagine, but in the way God knows is best. And until then, we’re cheering you on. You’re not forgotten. You’re not alone. Keep believing.
