We hear your heartfelt cry for help in overcoming this fear of driving, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s peace and strength. Fear is a very real battle, but we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Your desire to drive for the sake of your children and others in need is noble, and we believe the Lord will equip you as you step out in faith.
First, we want to affirm that your trust in Jesus is the foundation of your victory. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to lean fully on Him, for He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). The fear you feel is not from God, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. The enemy may try to paralyze you with anxiety, but we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and God’s love is greater than any fear you face.
We also want to encourage you to take practical steps alongside your prayers. Fear of driving is often rooted in past experiences or lack of confidence, but with God’s help, you can overcome it. Consider taking small, manageable steps—perhaps starting in a quiet area with a trusted, experienced driver beside you. Ask the Lord for wisdom and patience as you practice, and trust that He will steady your hands and calm your heart. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He will be with you on every journey.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, lifting up her fear of driving to You. Lord, we thank You that You are her strength and her shield, and that You have not given her a spirit of fear. We ask that You would break every chain of anxiety and doubt that has held her back for so long. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and grant her the courage to step behind the wheel with confidence in You.
Father, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, protecting her from harm and guiding her with wisdom and discernment. Give her steady hands, a calm mind, and a heart that trusts in Your presence. Help her to see herself as You see her—capable, equipped, and loved. We declare that fear has no place in her life, for You are with her wherever she goes.
Lord, we also pray for her children and anyone who may one day depend on her to drive. Give her the motivation and discipline to practice, and open doors for her to gain experience in a safe and supportive environment. May she grow in confidence not only as a driver but as a woman of faith who walks in the victory You have already won for her.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to You, and it is through His name that every fear is defeated. Amen.
