Dreamt I seen a man's marriage that was married 2 different times

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Last night I dreamt I seen a marriage that stopped at divorce. But the demons that cause the divorce didn't stop working in harming the spouses. I seen the 1st spouse. That the husband tried to get another spouse copy her. A mimicking spirit was in operation in full force in that married man's 2nd marriage. Everything that the 1st wife did. The married man did what he could to copy his 1st wife's likes, dislikes, etc. His 2nd marriage had the mimicking spirit working day and night in his home. Then I seen a sabotaging spirit that was used to sabotage his marriage to the 1st wife. It looked like the sabotaging spirit was working since the 1st wife was in her ### or ###. The spirit was working to sabotage her marriage when she was young and didn't know the spirit's evil intentions. The sabotaging spirit had successfully used a willing host. The husband's 2nd wife in bringing down the marriage. Both of the spirits were still at work in the 2nd marriage home. The spirits transfered from 1st marriage home to the 2nd marriage home. They were still in full operations.

We hear the deep concern in your heart over this dream, and we take it seriously as a spiritual warning. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, divide families, and replicate patterns of destruction from one generation to the next. What you described, mimicking spirits, sabotage, and the transfer of demonic influence from one marriage to another, aligns with Scripture’s warnings about the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:12). Marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and the forces of darkness will stop at nothing to undermine it.

First, we must rebuke these spirits in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is no authority greater than His, and no scheme of the enemy can stand against the power of His blood. We declare that any mimicking, sabotaging, or divisive spirit operating in marriages is bound and cast out now. "The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We break every assignment of the enemy over these marriages, and we command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name.

To the man in your dream: If this is a real situation, we urge him to repent of any ungodly soul ties, unforgiveness, or bitterness toward his first wife. Scripture warns, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4). If he entered his second marriage without biblical grounds for divorce (Matthew 19:9), he must seek God’s forgiveness and restoration. If his second marriage was built on comparison or manipulation, he must renounce those patterns and seek godly counsel to align his heart with Christ’s design for marriage, a union of two becoming one flesh, not a replication of the past.

To the wives involved: We pray for their protection and deliverance from any generational curses or spirits of sabotage. If the first wife was targeted from a young age, we declare that every lie planted in her mind is uprooted by the truth of God’s Word. "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32). We pray she would walk in freedom, forgiveness, and the fullness of God’s healing. For the second wife, we pray she would not be a pawn in the enemy’s schemes but would stand firm in her identity in Christ, refusing to be compared or controlled.

We also address the broader issue of divorce. While God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), He is a God of redemption. If these individuals are believers, they must seek repentance, reconciliation where possible, and a renewed commitment to God’s design for marriage. If they are not believers, we pray they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that true healing and restoration can come. "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Let us pray now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. We thank You for the institution of marriage, which You designed to reflect Your love and covenant with Your people. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of division, sabotage, and mimicry that seeks to destroy marriages. We break every assignment of the enemy over these individuals and their families. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your forgiveness for any sin that has opened the door to these attacks. If there has been unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly soul ties, we pray for repentance and cleansing by the blood of Jesus. We pray for the man in this dream, that he would turn his heart fully to You and seek Your will for his marriage. May he love his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), not as a copy of the past, but as a unique gift from You.

For the wives, Lord, we pray for Your healing and protection. Break every generational curse and every lie that has taken root in their minds. Fill them with Your truth, Your peace, and Your love. May they walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You and the purpose You have for their lives.

Father, we also pray for any children affected by these marriages. Protect their hearts and minds, and let them see Your love and faithfulness even in the midst of brokenness. We ask for Your restoration in every area where the enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy. Bring godly counsel, accountability, and healing to these families.

Lord, if these individuals do not know You, we pray they would come to salvation through Jesus Christ. May they experience the power of Your love and the transformation that comes from being born again. We declare that no situation is too broken for You to redeem, and we trust in Your perfect plan for their lives.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to bring healing and restoration. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We can see how a dream like this would leave you unsettled. When we glimpse spiritual realities, especially patterns of imitation, sabotage, and harm that stretch across years, it’s easy to feel the weight of it. The evil one works in shadows, but Christ has already disarmed him fully. C.S. Lewis once noted that the devil is equally pleased whether we disbelieve in his existence or become consumed with an unhealthy focus on him. So we want to receive what God showed you without giving the darkness more attention than it deserves.

What you saw may be a call to simple, quiet prayer, not a summons to untangle every detail or figure out the backstory. You’ve been shown something real, and that can feel heavy. But the weight belongs on Christ’s shoulders, not yours. The healthiest next step might be to pray once for that couple, however you feel led, and then entrust them to Jesus. He sees the whole picture and knows exactly how to free them. Then close the door on it. You don’t need to dissect the dream further or carry it like a burden.

Thank you, Lord, for revealing what is hidden in darkness so that we can pray. We ask you now to silence every mimicking and sabotaging spirit at work in that couple’s home. Cover them with the blood of Jesus. Break every assignment of the enemy, and bring them into the light of your truth and healing. Grant this dreamer your peace, the peace that surpasses understanding, and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We rest in your victory, Lord, because you have already overcome the world. Amen.

The night visions of the mind are often a tangled web, but the written Word of God is a sure lamp unto our feet. Beware of building doctrine upon dreams, for the enemy can transform himself into an angel of light even in our sleep. Yet I do not doubt that there are times when the Lord uncovers the devices of darkness to quicken His children to prayer. You have beheld in your dream the workings of malicious spirits, a mimicking and a sabotaging influence, transferring from one false union to another. This is a solemn glimpse into the ruin which follows when men depart from God's ordinance. Marriage is a lifelong covenant, a union of one man and one woman until death parts them. A marriage severed by divorce, and then a second union formed while the first partner lives, is not according to the pattern given in the garden. It is no wonder that such a house is a playground for unclean spirits, for it is built outside the hedge of God's blessing.

But what is your part in this sorrowful vision? Are you the wounded spouse, the first wife who has been cast aside? If so, look not upon the wickedness of another as though you were helpless. The Lord liveth, and He is the avenger of all treachery. Vengeance belongeth unto Him; He will repay. Your own deliverance from the bitterness and the snare of unforgiveness must come from His hand alone. The arrows of the Lord's deliverance are already pointed; they need but a believing hand to pull the bowstring of prayer. The same Lord who delivered Jacob from the hand of Esau, though he crossed the brook in fear and trembling, can make your adversary to be at peace with you, or can lift you above the strife.

Above all, remember that the greatest deliverance is from the pit of sin. Perhaps this trial has revealed to you the depths of your own need of a Saviour. No outward change of circumstance can cleanse the heart of a mimicking spirit; only the blood of Jesus Christ can break every fetter. Have you fled to the Ransom God has found? Christ Jesus gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world. If you are resting in Him, then you are delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of His dear Son. The demons you saw in the night season are chained; they cannot pluck you from His hand. But if you are still in your sins, then this dream is a merciful warning: you are in the domain of the prince of the power of the air, and you must cry out for the deliverance which God alone provides.

And when the Lord has brought you forth, as He surely will if you trust Him, forget not to declare His works. The night of weeping will end, and your mouth shall be filled with songs of deliverance. You shall say, "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Let your gratitude be as gold and silver brought out of Egypt, a tribute to free grace. Go now to the throne of grace, confess your own sins, leave your husband's judgment to the Righteous Judge, and plead the precious blood. So shall you come forth with joy, and your tongue shall sing aloud of His righteousness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not place such trust in dreams as though they were a sure revelation from God. Many have been led astray, giving heed to night visions and fanciful imaginations, while neglecting the clear and sober word of Scripture. You speak of demons of divorce, mimicking spirits, and sabotage that transferred from one marriage to another. But let me ask: where in all this is the power of Christ, who has broken the curse and delivered us from every evil work? You are too much occupied with naming and tracing spirits, as if they were masters of the house, while you take your eyes off the Master who has overcome them.

The Law pronounced a curse on all who do not continue in all things written, but grace says, “Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Christ redeemed us from the curse, being made a curse for us. Do you not see? Your dream leaves you heavy laden with fear, but the gospel would lift that burden. The mimicking and the sabotage you describe have one remedy: the cross, where all hostile powers were disarmed. Do not stand gazing at the waves; call upon the Name which the sea obeys. Did our Lord need to pray when He raised Lazarus? He gave thanks that the Father always hears Him, but He prayed aloud only for the sake of the bystanders, that they might believe. His will and the Father’s are one, and He needs no impulse from prayer to command demons. If you belong to Him, the Spirit of His Son has been sent into your heart, crying, “Abba, Father.” That Spirit bears witness with your own spirit that you are a child of God and an heir. Will you then tremble at a dream of demons, when the Highest Essence has bestowed that Gift upon you?

Examine your life instead, and the marriages you saw. If there was divorce for reasons that Scripture does not permit and a rushing into another union, that is not merely the work of a mimicking spirit; it is the fruit of human sin, which always carries its own misery. Marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled, but let it be in holiness, not in the lustful copying of a former spouse or in the violation of the one-flesh bond. If a man puts away his wife without just cause and marries another, he commits adultery; that is not merely a demonic transfer, it is a wound against the law of Christ. Yet even such sins are not beyond the reach of mercy if there is repentance. Do not place the blame entirely on a sabotaging spirit that worked from youth; that is too convenient an explanation. The heart’s own lusts, when they have conceived, bring forth sin. Where was watchfulness, prayer, and the counsel of the elders of the church? Where was the protection of the Holy Spirit, given in baptism and renewed by the blood of Christ?

Cease, then, from this dark and tangled dream-interpretation, which breeds only fear and distraction. Turn to prayer, but not as a desperate charm against demons. “He that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,” because the Spirit intercedes for the saints. If you are His, pour out your heart in confession and faith, not in superstitious dread. Strive for holiness: if you are married, live with your wife in purity and mutual honor; if you have sinned, repent and bring forth fruits worthy of amendment. Fast, give alms, and cleave to the Church. The demons you fear have no hold where Christ reigns, unless you open the door by sin and unbelief. But know this: the Comforter has been given, and He teaches us to cry, “Abba,” casting out all fear. Where the Spirit bears witness, what room for doubtfulness? Even when an emperor proclaims an honor, no one dares gainsay it. How much more shall we hold fast our dignity as sons, purchased not with corruptible things but with the precious blood of the Lamb? Let the dead bury their dead; as for you, rise and follow Him who is the Resurrection and the Life, and give no more heed to the shadows that vanish in His light.

Your dream lays bare realities that Scripture has long warned us about. Marriage was designed by God from the beginning as a one‑flesh union, a compound unity that reflects his own nature. When that covenant is broken through divorce and another union is formed, the ground does not simply become neutral. What you saw, a mimicking spirit replicating the first wife’s likes and a sabotaging spirit that began its work long before the first marriage failed, points to a sobering truth: destructive spiritual forces do not relent just because a legal decree ends a marriage. They simply shift their operations. The enemy’s purposes are always evil and destructive, and when sin cracks the door open, demonic powers gain a foothold not only to trouble individuals but to spread that trouble into every area of life, including the home that follows.

The same Lord who walked among tombs and set free the man inhabited by a legion of spirits is still the Lord over every demonic power. Those spirits made the man a menace, breaking every fetter, yet one word from Jesus sent them fleeing. Deliverance does not come through human cleverness, religious ritual, or the passing of time. It comes only through the Lamb of God, whose sacrifice breaks the bondage of sin itself. Just as the Passover lamb’s blood marked the doorposts and meant deliverance from Egypt, so the blood of Jesus marks a life as forever rescued from the power of darkness. No mimicking or sabotaging spirit can stand where a heart is truly turned to him in repentance and faith.

That means the real issue is not merely casting out what is foul, but making certain that what has been broken is brought under the rule of Christ. Divorce and remarriage, whatever the circumstances, fracture what God joined together. A second union formed in the shadow of the first can become a workshop for familiar spirits because the foundation is not the fresh creation God intends but a troubled copy. The enemy loves to counterimitate, to produce something that looks like the original yet carries nothing of its life. But Christ did not come to patch up old wounds while leaving sin unchallenged; he came to raise the dead. Just as he reminded the Sadducees that in the resurrection we neither marry nor are given in marriage, so he calls us now to live in the light of that coming reality, walking in holiness, forsaking every false union, and trusting his power to make all things new.

Do not let this dream merely trouble you; let it send you to your knees. Pray that those caught in these tangled bonds would have their eyes opened to see that no human effort can undo what spiritual forces have entrenched. Like Peter, who wept bitterly when the rooster crowed and he remembered Jesus’ words, any genuine deliverance begins with the grief that leads to repentance. That is where bondage breaks, at the cross, not in any fable or quick formula. The only safe ground is full surrender to the One who alone can command the legion to depart and then invite the delivered heart to sit quietly at his feet, clothed and in its right mind. Stand on that truth, intercede with that confidence, and guard your own heart from every counterfeit the enemy might try to spin.

We are deeply moved by your sharing and the spiritual burden you carry regarding the marriages you witnessed in your dream. It is clear that you have a heart for discernment and a desire to see God’s will done in the lives of those affected by these spiritual attacks. We have been praying fervently for protection, deliverance, and restoration over these marriages, asking the Lord to break every chain of the mimicking and sabotaging spirits at work. We stand in agreement with you, declaring that no weapon formed against these unions shall prosper, and that the enemy’s plans will be exposed and dismantled in Jesus’ mighty name.

If the Lord has already moved in response to these prayers—if there has been breakthrough, healing, or divine intervention—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so we may rejoice with you. If, however, the battle still rages and the need for prayer remains, we encourage you to post this request again so we may continue to intercede on your behalf. Let us press in together, covering these marriages in prayer, binding the forces of darkness, and releasing the peace, wisdom, and restoration that only God can provide.

May the Father strengthen you as you seek Him, and may His Spirit give you continued discernment and boldness to stand in faith. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
