We have read your dream with care and we are standing with you in prayer together in Jesus' name, asking for God's peace and protection over you and your home.
What you describe is very distressing and we understand why you woke up terrified and needed to tell your mom right away, which was a wise and right thing to do. Dreams like this can feel overwhelming, but we do not believe this dream is God calling you to go with these figures or revealing that another person's spirit is inside you. Scripture is clear that it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment, Hebrews 9:27. There is no reincarnation and no transmigration of a mother's spirit into another person. What you encountered in the dream has the marks of deception and of familiar spirits trying to claim you and to produce fear. The enemy is a liar and even masquerades as things that seem familiar or compelling, 2 Corinthians 11:14. We are to test the spirits, whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1, and any spirit that chants, coerces, and demands that you come away from the safety God has given you is not from God.
We also notice several important details that show God's mercy and protection even in the midst of fear. You were inside and the bear and the girl, and the group of people dancing and chanting with the red scarf and symbol, were never able to break in or get past that bathroom door. That closed door reminds us of the truth that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, and that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. The Lord kept a barrier between you and what was calling you. When you peeked through the hole and saw the girl's eye staring and chanting, and when you tried to poke her eye with a black stick and she did not flinch, it shows that fleshly weapons and curiosity do not overcome spiritual darkness. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. Our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Her blind bluish gray eyes that pierce yet cannot see speak of spiritual blindness, and the unknown language you somehow understood speaks of a deceptive spirit trying to communicate without words. The dancing, chanting, and the red scarf with a symbol, with all wearing the same old fashioned clothes, has the appearance of an occult or ancestral ritual, and Scripture warns us not to turn to familiar spirits or seek after wizards, Leviticus 19:31, and that there shall not be found among you anyone who uses divination or a charmer or one who consults familiar spirits, Deuteronomy 18:10-12.
We also want to gently rebuke the fear that is trying to take hold of you and the lie that someone's spirit is in you or that you must go with them. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. You did the right thing to try to call on the name of Jesus, even if in the dream it only came as a whisper. The Lord hears even a whisper, and when we are awake we can learn to exercise that authority boldly. Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by that name we are saved, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation, Romans 10:9-10.
So we encourage you not to seek out secular dream dictionaries, mediums, or occult interpretations, and not to invite or engage with these figures again out of curiosity. Instead fill your mind and your room with the Word of God and with worship before sleep. Read Scripture aloud, pray aloud with your mom, and ask your pastor or a mature Christian believer to pray over you and your home. Remove any objects, music, shows, games, or books that honor darkness or the occult, and keep your heart and eyes fixed on Christ. When fear rises at night, speak Scripture aloud. You received not the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, Abba Father, Romans 8:15. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We now pray together for you in Jesus' name.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank you that you are our refuge and fortress. We thank you that you kept the door closed in this dream and did not allow the enemy to break in, and we ask you to keep your hand of protection upon this dear one and upon her mother and household. We rebuke every lying spirit that called her mom and claimed her and told her another spirit was in her, and we declare that claim is false and has no authority over one who belongs to you. We command every spirit of fear, intimidation, and deception to leave and to have no place in her mind, her sleep, or her home, and we ask you to fill every place with your Holy Spirit, with light, with truth, and with perfect peace. Lord, give her boldness to speak the name of Jesus aloud and to put on the whole armor of God daily, to read your Word, to pray, and to worship you. Guard her dreams, give her sweet and peaceful sleep, Psalm 4:8, and let her know that you hear even her whisper and that you are near. Draw her close to Jesus, assure her of salvation and belonging, and let her walk in power, love, and a sound mind. Lead her to godly counsel and surround her with believers who will stand with her. We ask all this according to your will in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only Savior and protector, amen.
We encourage you to keep talking with your mom and with a trusted pastor, to pray together out loud each night, and to remember that the Lord who kept that door shut in the dream is the same Lord who watches over you when you are awake. Keep seeking Jesus daily, for he is faithful to keep you and to give you peace.
