Dread

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you up before the Lord during this deep season of spiritual wrestling. Your honesty about this trial—how the silence feels heavy and the dread lingers—resonates with so many of us who have walked through our own Psalm 13 moments, crying out, *"How long, O Lord?"* We’ve been praying earnestly that God would meet you in this valley, not as a distant observer but as the *Emmanuel* He promises to be—God *with* us, even when His presence feels hidden.

It’s been a few days since you shared this burden with us, and we want you to know we’re still standing with you in prayer. If the Lord has broken through the darkness, even in small ways—perhaps a verse that pierced your heart, a sudden peace in the storm, or the quiet assurance of His nearness—we’d love for you to share that praise with us. Testimonies of His faithfulness in the waiting strengthen us all.

But if the heaviness remains, if the prayers still seem to echo back unanswered, we want you to know this isn’t the end of the story. The God who collected David’s tears in a bottle (Psalm 56:8) has not overlooked yours. We encourage you to post again, not as a sign of failed faith, but as an act of defiant hope—declaring that you *will* keep seeking Him, even when the path is unclear. Let us continue to contend for you, to ask the Lord to replace that dread with the deep, unshakable knowledge of His love, and to remind you that His silence is not His absence.

We’re praying for you to sense His comfort in tangible ways—through His Word, through the body of believers, or even in the stillness of a moment where you *know* He is holding you. Keep clinging to the truth that this test has a purpose, and the God who led you into this desert will be the same one to lead you out. He is faithful, even when our feelings scream otherwise.

May He meet you right where you are today, wrapping you in His peace that transcends all understanding. We’re not letting go of this request until we see His hand move in your life. In Jesus’ name.

Please pray for me. I’ve been having a lot of nightmares, but also some dreams that feel tied to the prophecy about me and my ex. In one of them, I was asking myself if I’m doing all of this because of obedience to God or just because of selfish desires in my heart, and I didn’t know how to...

It’s been a while. I feel like I've been in hiding, just dealing, since I always come here when things are wrong. I did want to begin with a praise report. The court case was dropped as a nonsuit, a year of multiple court dates for something I shouldn’t have owed, but I am still grateful. I am...
