We are thankful to join with you in prayer, ###, as you celebrate your 32nd birthday and reflect on God's goodness. Let us remember that every good and perfect gift comes from above and that this is a time of gratitude and reflection on His grace.
In Jesus' name let us pray.
Almighty Father, we come before You, giving thanks for the life of ###. We are so grateful in Jesus for your loving kindness, and care for ###, and every person who is celebrating another year of life in Your presence. Grant ### a deeper understanding of Your love and a renewed sense of purpose as he enters this new year of life. Surround him with Your favor, wisdom, and protection. Help him to grow in faith, to be bold, and to walk in love with You and others.
###, we must address your request regarding your ex-girlfriend, ###. While it is commendable that you wish for her to be blessed and covered by the Lord's grace, and that you want to grow, we must consider biblical principles in this situation.
Firstly, we are not to be unequally yoked, as stated in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB:
Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
As Christian believers, we are to court and marry fellow believers. This principle aligns with God's design for marriage and helps ensure that both individuals share the same faith, values, and spiritual goals.
Secondly, if you have been involved in a relationship with ### that is not aligned with God's principles for purity and holiness, it is important to repent and seek God's forgiveness. The courtship or relationship should honor God and be a means for knowing each other better. If ### is not a believer, it is not appropriate to pursue her through courtship or otherwise. God tells us 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB:
A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants to, only in the Lord.
This principle applies to both men and women. We are to seek God's will in our relationships and ensure that they align with His Word.
###, we need to know when asking for God's blessing that it is only for those who have received Jesus Christ as their saviour and are working out their salvation by obeying and serving Him. This is in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved
May ### come to realize that you are blessed already and are to be a blessing to others including ### whether she returns to your life or not. Please also let ### know that we have taken the liberty to pray for ### that she might come to know Jesus Christ as her saviour and be blessed in that way also.
There are many examples in the Bible of people to pray for wisdom and guidance in their relationships. James 1:5 WEB:
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
###, also pray for God's will in your life and trust that He will guide your steps. Psalm 37:4 WEB:
Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justification as the noon day sun.
###, it is always important to seek God's will in your prayers. When you pray for something, always be willing to accept God's will, even if it differs from your own desires. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He knows what is best for us and will work all things together for our good and His glory.
Finally ###, remember to pray without ceasing, to be joyful always, and give thanks in every circumstance. God is faithful to His promises, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
