Dr. ### Diet

Cardiologist has put me on a strict diet. We cannot afford to eat these "healthy" foods. No canned foods because of the salt content. Must be fresh frozen or fresh. We don't eat fruit or fresh because it is simply twice as expensive as the can food. And my husband refuses to eat chicken or turkey which is what I am supposed to eat if I want meat. Can eat all the venison I want as long as it is not fried. No red meat. No ham or sausage. That's fine I don't like ham anyways but husband does. How am I supposed to do this. I had a round with my doctor over this. I told her I cannot afford to buy two separate meals like that. She said my husband's diet is killing me. He laughed. But he won't budge on his food. We don't have enough one to get us through each month as it is. Even with my frugality at the grocery store. My husband starts work full time the 7th of January but won't see full-time pay until his Feb paycheck the last day of February. He has to have new shoes and pants. All of which will come out of our bill money. If he would act like an adult and change his clothes before he works on the cars ours and other people's cars he would have decent pants. But no. I want to scream. I am grateful he is going full time. It's taken long enough. But he will blow the extra income unless God severely knocks him in the head and tells him he needs to pay his tithes first then pay the bills. That on itself would be a miracle. One that I have been praying for for 10 years. Maybe I will just scream and pull my hair out because I am sick of people telling me to "pray, believe, receive" and it never happens.

If I am to do this diet the funds are going to have to fall into MY lap. Same way with the bills. Because if my husband gets funds he does what he wants with the money and bills don't get paid. 10 years of praying about that. Same for my settlements that will help thousands. God's infinite plan.
