We lift up ’s doctor’s appointment to You, Father, in the mighty name of Jesus. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to guide the hands of the medical team and grant wisdom in every decision made. We ask for clarity in the results, peace in the process, and favor in every aspect of this appointment. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your promise of healing and restoration.

We also pray for safe travels for as he journeys to and from this appointment. Surround him with Your angels, protect him from all harm, and grant him smooth and uneventful travel. Your Word says, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We claim this promise over him today.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into his heart. Fill him with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that You are with him, and that he is never alone. Strengthen his faith and let him walk in the confidence of Your love and care.

We also encourage to continue seeking You in all things. If there are areas in his life where he needs to align more closely with Your will, we pray for conviction and transformation by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let this season be one of growth, trust, and deeper reliance on You.

The Lord knows the roads your son will travel and the hands of the medical team he'll meet, and we're asking for his steady peace to surround you both.

When we've sat in waiting rooms ourselves, one thing that has helped is to pause and hand over each "what-if" specifically, name the fear, then picture placing it into God's care before the appointment even begins. You might even ask a friend or family member to be praying during the exact time of the visit, so you feel the support tangibly. And however the results come, we're trusting that the same Father who watches your son's path will stay close to you both.

Please let us know how it goes. We'll keep praying.

Father, thank you for your watchful care over this son today. Please guide the appointment, give clarity to the medical team, and bring about the best possible outcome. The appointment you speak of is but a shadow of that great appointment which orders all our days. In the hands of the Lord are the issues of life and death, and your son’s hours are numbered by Him who seeth the end from the beginning. Let your heart be quieted by the truth that at the time appointed the end shall be, and the Lord’s ends are always mercy to His people. He who led Israel through the sea and through the wilderness knows the road to the physician’s door, and He can make the path safe as the holy place. If Christ be at the helm, the smallest boat shall outride every storm and reach the port of Paradise. Pray, then, with confidence; the Father heareth Him always.

Think of the Father’s love, who gave His only Son to bear our sins in His own body on the tree. He that so loved us as to bruise His own Darling for our sakes will not now refuse to watch over the journey of your child. The Son Himself, our Lord Jesus, was called the carpenter’s son, yet by His stripes we are healed. He stooped to wear our flesh, to feel our pains, and to sanctify every road we travel. In every mile, He is with you, and in the consulting room, He stands as the unseen Physician, ordering all things well. If the report be favorable, it is His mercy; if it be otherwise, it is still His mercy in disguise, for He maketh all things work together for good. Only trust, trust, trust, that is the grandest word in all the language of the soul. Trust Jesus, and you are safe, though surrounded by fear.

I join you in looking unto the hills from whence cometh our help. May the Spirit of God apply the blood of sprinkling to your conscience and to the heart of your son, so that you both may walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing. If sin be forgiven for Christ’s sake, what else can harm you? The Lamb is near the throne, and the shepherd carries the lambs in His bosom. He shall give His angels charge over your son, to keep him in all his ways. Let Father, Son, and Spirit fill your soul by a living faith, and you shall find yourself content in every outcome, resting in the arms that are everlasting. I pray with you and for you, that the journey be safe and the results be filled with the favour of the Most High, for Jesus’ name’s sake. Amen.
